Where do we teach you to surf?

Most surfers learn and go surfing on overcrowded beaches. St Ives Bay Holiday Park own the land adjacent to the beach and even own the beach down to the “mean high water mark”. This means that The Surf School is lucky enough to have one of the best beaches in the world, while not having the crowds!

The beach is lifeguarded (in addition to your instructors being fully qualified lifeguards as well as surf coaches).

The beach faces west which means it catches most of the swell hitting the UK and you can watch the sunset every day of your stay.

After your surf lesson

Opposite The Surf School, within a few yards, there is an indoor, heated swimming pool, a restaurant and a pub with stunning views of the ocean and beautiful sunsets. The Surf School itself has a chill-out zone with sofas and a large screen TV showing surf films, plus pool tables in addition to a fully equipped classroom for those who want video analysis, or even training as surf coaches.

Private, individual & group surfing lessons are designed to be friendly, fun and safe

Our surfing instructors are fully qualified by the British Surfing Association.
